This is a model of the Gymnasium where the Olympic athletes are training. Alexander and Hephaistion are standing in between the columns, looking into the center square. The the other athletes are exercising in the center square.
These images show you what the up-close details of the columns and decorations of the Gymnasium would look like.
These are called "stoas." Standing inside the Gymnasium square, it would look very much like these buildings.
Even though the manga drawings will be in black-and-white, remember that Greek buildings in their time were not all white. The decorations would have been painted in blue, red, gold, and other colors.
