Statues of Alexander

These are some of the many statues that exist of Alexander. He was very young when they were made - mid-20's, so they give you a pretty good idea of what he might have looked like in his teens. Historians believe Alexander was blond, with grey or blue eyes. His hairdo is very typical - almost all statues of him show his hair like this. There are no statues we know are exactly of Hephaistion. However, it is said he was taller and more muscular than Alexander, and actually more handsome. (Though as you can see, Alexander was pretty handsome, too.) In our manga, Hephaistion is the Seme - give him slightly darker hair, but his eyes should be a light color. Alexander is the Uke.
Symbol of Macedonia
In our manga, when we see the various members of the Olympic teams out among the people, they will be wearing tunics and cloaks with the symbols of their city-states. (The way that modern Olympic teams wear warmup suits with their flags on them.) I will provide images of the different city-state symbols.
This is the symbol of Macedonia - Ptolemy and Philotas, when they walk into the Gymnasium to talk to Alexander and Hephaistion, are wearing tunics and cloaks with this symbol. The tunics have the symbol repeated as trim around the bottom and neck. The cloak has a large symbol woven into it.
